The motorized model is easy to install because it comes fully assembled and requires a minimum mounting height of only 7'6". It mounts onto any kind of siding: bricks, stucco, masonry, aluminum, vinyl and wood siding. NOTE: The 11'8" projection awning is available in widths of 14' - 20'.
Can be installed on wood, brick, stucco, aluminum, and vinyl siding.
Can install directly to wall or soffit.
Awning must be installed on something structural.
18' (5.486 m) power cord (comes standard) plugs into any grounded outlet.
11'8" (3.556 m) projection awning allows larger projection for additional coverage.
24' (7.315 m) power cord plugs into any grounded outlet (not an extension cord).
Minimum mounting height is 7'6" (2.286 m).
Recommended mounting height is 9' (2.743 m).
No maximum—NOTE: power cord must reach receptacle.
Mounting too high—over 10' (3.048 m)—will make installation and troubleshooting difficult and will provide less protection from the sun.
Preset pitch = 29" (73.7 cm), approximately 2'6" (76.2 cm), from top of brackets to lowest part of awning front bar when awning is fully extended.
The factory preset pitch is adjustable to allow additional clearance if desired.
Space required above doors and windows to install wall brackets:
8" (20.3 cm) of space for the brackets and cover.
9" (22.9 cm) of space for the brackets and hood on a standard projection awning.
NOTE: 11" (28 cm) of space is needed to mount the hood on an 11'8" (3.556 m) projected awning.
