  1. This web site takes every precaution to protect our user's information. When users submit sensitive information via the web site, your information is protected both online and off-line. When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. No sensitive information is ever transmitted in plain text.

    While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just 'surfing'.

  2. Our company is not required to collect sales tax for any state, therefore we do not do that. However, this may change in the future.

  3. Most of our vendors only charge for oversized products and this can vary with the vendors from 84" - 96" wide and for vertical window coverings that are over 96" in height. However, the vendor for our Premium Bamboo Shades, Roller Shades, Solar Shades and Folding/Sliding Panels charges a per unit freight fee. And we have another vendor for our Premium Cellular Shades and Premium Cellular Sliding Panel that charges a per unit processing fee. These charges appear on the order summary page which is one step before checkout.

    Note: There is no such thing as free shipping - neither FedEx, UPS or the US Postal Service provide home deliveries without getting paid. In our industry one of two things will happen - the vendor will include freight in our per unit cost or the retailer will include it in your per unit cost and then underhandedly claim free shipping. I refuse to do that merely as a lure to get your business. I sell the same Exterior Solar Shades as Wayfair®, Wal-Mart®, Overstock®, JcPenney® and so on. All of the above offer free shipping and yet they are charged the same per unit freight fee that I am. I can't control how much the vendor charges me for freight, but I do control the per unit cost that I offer online and to that extent, I'm one of the least expensive in town.  My Point? The most obvious is that we're more transparent than our competitor's and if you find the same product on a competitor's site who is offering free shipping - whereas I charge for it separately, compare the total cost - I'd be willing to bet that you'll receive a better deal on BlindsShopper.com.

  4. Ordering has never been easier. We use our own custom shopping cart system specially designed to make ordering custom window treatments as simple as possible.

    To order select from the category/product links at the top of the page. Select the product your are interested in. Once you have made your selection you can then begin choosing the various options available for that product such as color, style, and height and width. After the final option is selected our system will generate a custom price quote.

  6. We are sorry. At this time we do not ship internationally. We require a Shipping and Billing address in the United States.

  7. Your credit card is not charged real-time on the Internet. All orders are processed at one time within 24 hours after they are received except on weekends. Your credit card will be charged before your order is filled. Once your card has been successfully billed and your order verified you will be contacted via email. Orders may NOT be cancelled once this takes place. If you wish to cancel an order you must do so within 24 hours.

  8. When you receive your order greatly depends on what you ordered. The production times are listed on all product pages - all orders take 24 hours to process. Orders are then shipped via FedEx or UPS ground, which takes 2-7 business days depending upon your location.

    Most shipments are sent via UPS or FedEx (but not overnight). If you must have your products by a certain date please request this at time of order and special arrangements can be made.

  9. To track your order you can contact us to ask for a status and one will be provided within 24-hour. As soon as your order is shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number.

  10. Orders must be changed within 24 hours of ordering (prior to processing). If you realize that you forgot something or incorrectly measured a window and your order has not been processed you may contact us during normal business hours to make the necessary correction.

  11. Orders must be cancelled within 24 hours of ordering (prior to processing). We cannot cancel an order after it has been processed. Please do not ask us to do so. It is not possible to cancel an order when materials have been allocated and cut for your windows. Thank you for your understanding.

  12. Please remember that our products are custom made to fit your windows. It is impossible for us to re-sell a product that has been made to your measurements, color, and/or style. It is because of this that we do not accept returns.

    If you receive a product that we built incorrectly, this would be covered by our guarantee and we will replace it Free of charge.
