Product Features

Wood Blinds with large slat options have become very popular. The wide slat Shutter-Blind construction gives you a more open view because there is more free space between the slats. Select our privacy/routeless option to reduce light-bleed and for easy slat removal during cleaning. Made from 100% kiln-dried North American Hardwoods, these Shutter Blinds come in a wide range of slat colors with designer options.

2-1/2" Wood Shutter Blinds offer a spacious view while combining the look of shutters with the ease and function of a blind. This product compacts tightly when raised for a completely unobstructed view of the outside. Or, you can choose to keep the blind closed and simply tilt the slats for privacy and light control. The wider 2-1/2" slats offers a greater view out and more natural light in.

  • 2-1/2" Premium Basswood Slats that are light weight yet durable enough for everyday use.
  • Comes standard with a 3 1/4" Royal Crown Valance.
  • Cord-Tilt is Standard
  • Large Selection of Paints & Stains.
  • Color Coordinated Components.
  • Made from Lead Free Materials.

Horizontal Blind Controls

Tilt Control
This term refers to the tilt mechanism that controls the angle of the slats. A cord tilt control is standard on our 2-1/2" Basswood Blinds. The cord tilt consists of 2 separate pull cords with tassels.

Routeless (no holes) Privacy Feature

Routeless
Routeless Blinds are notched at the back of each slat taking the place of the standard rout holes. This allows for a sleeker look and tighter slat closure. The slats then rest on rungs of the ladder-braid.

2-on-1 Headrail

2-on-1 Headrail
In wider than average windows - weight is a huge concern because of the limitations on the lift mechanism. As a result, 2 blinds can be put on 1 headrail with a single "common" valance or with each having its own individual valance. Both blinds would operate independently with their own set of controls.

I deal with Shawn Bushway and he is always most helpful. The BlindsShopper process is very easy and I've never had a blind that didn't fit.
